My kids were playing outside with our 5 month old boxer/lab and came running in shouting "skylar ate a lizard!" Blech.

As far as I can tell, it was one of those little greenish brown guys that are all over the southern US. A skink maybe? This is really gross, but she was running all over the yard while chewing on it and it took me a while to catch her. Only a small bit of the tail was left. My vet is closed, but I plan to call in the morning. I'll watch her for vomiting or diarrhea, but do you think there's cause for major concern?

My cats eat those all the time and they've never suffered any ill effects, I'm sure she'll be fine.

In them thar hills...
My cats eat the blue tailed lizard all the time and love them as "snacks", I guess.

They can wolf one down, chewing, in 30 second flat.  They have never suffered ill effects.  They hunt and kill rabbits and mice too.  And they have really good cat food as well, but they love the hunt.
