We finally had our female Bastet spayed yesterday. Both our other cats have totally rejected her since she came back. Her best buddy who snuggled with her several times a day now approaches, sniffs, snarls, and smacks her before retreating. Our 23 yr old just approached and sniffed her before backing up rapidly and hunkering down several feet away. Obviously our girl is more than depressed at her friends rejecting her. If it makes a difference both her buddies are neutered males. Will this pass, or will her scent have changed enough we will have to do reintroductions?

It's non-recognition aggression. The two cats don't recognize the post-surgery cat because of the strange smells still lingering on the fur. Try the tips in this TCS article: How To Deal With Non-recognition Aggression In Cats – TheCatSite Articles
You can also try dabbing a drop of vanilla extract on each cat, so that they will smell the same.
