ive currently rescued two stray cat and their kittens. One ive been feeding since a kitten so is very tame and she had her kittens outside the front door as she's still young don't think she quiet new what was going on as she looked so scared and the dogs were running around so brought them in and gave them a bed. But today I found a kitten crying stuck in a spiked cactus bush so I got it out and realize it had an eye infection so I took it in and not far behind come running was it mum who I've fed in the past, so I brought her into giving there was only one kitten in her nest I'm guessing the rest passed away so wanted to keep this one safe. I'm tending to the other kittens eye as a couple also have infections so one more wasn't in issue. But I don't really want the mum cats running around the house so I tried to put them into the same room but the tame mummy cat it fine with the other mum but hisses at the kitten. I've currently got mum and baby in a cat box so she can get used to the room and the other mum is in and out the house. My question is if I keep introducing the kitten to her will she accept it in the room with its mum or will she continue to regent it as I don't want to leave them locked in a cat box all day and only let out now and again. The kitten I helped deliver were 3 weeks Sunday and I'm guessing the new one is about a month. The other mum hasn't moved from the box but she is aware other kittens are in the room and seemed interested when hearing them cry to be fed. Just want to know if I'm going to have to find new place for this mum and kitten. Once they are old enough I'm going to introduce them to being back outside with there mum as I have beds outside for the cats.
