Frodo says that this whole in warm house when it's cold out thing isn't so bad.
She was waiting at the door for me to let her out, lol.I bet Gladys couldn't wait to get outdoors and enjoy a sunny, dry day.
Smart girl or should I say bunny? She was waiting at the door for me to let her out, lol.
Yep. The twins get specialty blends of herbs and forage that help with preventing blockage. Along with tummy rubs if either of them are looking uncomfortable (let's be honest, Gladys is a lot more cooperative with those). It can lead to GI Stasis which can kill within a day or two. Although, having a hay rich diet and plenty of space can go a long way to helping ensure a healthy digestive system. Rabbit owners have to be really on top of it if they want their buns to have long life's.He is such a doll! I watch a lot of vet shows, including the now off the air? one about the exotic animal hospital in FL. I learned a lot about the health care and responsibility of rabbits. They are definitely not for anyone who is not going to take excellent care of them. I never realized that they cannot spit up hairballs and often have blockages because of that.
Are you talking about Dr. K's Exotic Animal ER, (Dr. Kelleher)? I used to watch that show every weekend.I watch a lot of vet shows, including the now off the air? one about the exotic animal hospital in FL.
That is the one. I just loved it and learned a lot from it.Are you talking about Dr. K's Exotic Animal ER, (Dr. Kelleher)?
It's hard to tell since he's Fluffy about the weight but his last two bum checks have been pretty good. He was being a brat last week about going back in but yesterday he was fine again. I think it's because his treat with dinner the last two days has been carrot and dill biscuits (which he adores) and the week before was banana waffles (which are just okay). Yesterday he ran into my leg and bounced right back up to get to his food bowl for the carrot biscuit. How's Frodo doing on his diet? Losing any weight or just better able to groom his nether regions?
