I would contact a rescue or something to help you out. OR you can find a low cost or free clinic near you to spay and vaccinate her and then charge an adoption fee of that amount to make up for it. Vaccines can cost as low as $10 if you go to a low cost clinic.
Yes, I had one rescue in mind. It's a cat ranch right here in my town. I just would have rathered knowing where exactly the kitten went to. If I place her in the rescue, I'll never really know if she made it to a good home. I want someone who will keep her inside and have her spayed and vaccinated. I don't want her going to just anyone. Not to say that the rescue will do that. I'm sure they will have them screened.
A good rescue WILL alter and vaccinate and screen new homes. If you give the cat directly to someone, you will have to have it done before hand and then charge an adoption fee for the cat which is the route I would go.
My mom JUST said that we could keep IPOD!!! We were going to be meeting up with a girl tomorrow that was going to be picking him up. She knows a lady that fosters and that was going to take him along with a few other kittens to a cat rescue in Massachusetts. I've been really down about it b/c I'm already attached to the little guy. Well, in the car, I started saying how Ipod is going to be all the way in Massachusetts. My brother chimed in and said how Ipod is such a good kitten. And that's kinda how it all happened. I'm still in shock. But, she said NO more inside animals. This is the last. I guess I'll have to wait until next year to work on her about getting a rabbit.
Well, I just wanted to let everyone know the wonderful news!!!
