Has anyone recently traveled to Germany with their cat under the seat? I am wondering whether it is better to fly Lufthansa or one of the American airlines in that situation - possibly one is more friendly than the other?
I read other posts where people mentioned flying with cats to Europe in soft sided carriers. However on the airline pages a lot of them say the carrier in the cabin needs to be watertight/leak proof. It doesn't seem like any of the soft sided carriers are waterproof. Maybe I am just missing something.
Ideally I would like to be able to fly with one of those soft carriers where the sides zip out and expand once in the air.
