Transitioning To Raw

We started transitioning our crew to raw today. 4 of our 5 took right to it! The fifth suspects it may be poisoned.

4 out of 5 sounds like the right odds. In 2008, I quickly transitioned 2 dogs and 2 cats over to raw, plus 1 holdout on the attempted-poisoning theory.

Haha! I got the holdout to get on board last night. I just stuck some on my finger and stuck it in his mouth. Once he knew it wasn't poisoned, he dove right in.

That's how I got my very stubborn, dry-food addicted cat to try wet food. I'd been trying to transition her for weeks when one day she yawned. I just popped a bit on her tongue, and she snapped her mouth closed with the funniest look of surprise and confusion.

Congratulations! I too had to do a lot of "force feeding" with raw before Felix took to it. He was on dry for a long time but now he goes on the table looking for his raw meat.

took a while for mine to take ... I'm buying it from Food Fur Love Raw Pet Food Home - Food Fur Love they shred it into small pieces to resemble kibble. Worth a shot
