Hello, My cat Pepe threw up a furball yesterday, and then vomited again, and looked very unwell, and went and hid under our bed. I took her to the vet, and she gave her tramadol for her sore stomach, and vitB for her nausea. She has been spaced out ever since, awake half the night, staring, all wide eyed. She has been sleeping ever since, and has hardly moved. I'm guessing it's a side effect, but am still worried about my fur baby. The vet said to wait another day. Anyone had similar problems? She just got up ran over to me, and ate a tiny bit of tuna. Now she is sleeping again. It has been about 17 hrs since the tramadol shot. Advice please.

If this feels WRONG to you I think I would call the vet. I too get Tramadol shots but they ease pain. Maybe your furbaby is sensitive to the meds?

Good luck hope kitty feels better quickly!

How is Pepe today? Tramadol can definitely make one feel "weird" if you're not used to it, so I'd say that could definitely be the issue.

Hoping she's feeling better now
