Hi,
My name is Stacy and today was my first day joining the forums. I had 3 cats already and was so proud of the two new additions I brought home last night I joined.
To make a long story short, I have done private dog rescue for 22 years. S/N vaccines, dewormings and everything entailed in k9 rescue. I never asked for donations, and never charged for my dogs once I found a suitable home.
I got a call from a desperate lady earlier this evening. She is feeding and trying to tame over 30 strays in her neighborhood and begged me to take a couple of the younger ones. I decided maybe I need to so for cats and kittens as I did for dogs.
Well she met me at a store down the road with SIX cats.... I took four. So off course I loaded up on feed and litter and bought two new litter boxes... Lord help me I've already named 3 of the 4. Anyway, I just wanted to share an see if anyone else does out of pocket rescue with cats and would love to hear your experiences
