Hi all,
Just adopted Toby and Tessa from what most of you would refer to as an animal shelter(kinda). There's a pet shop here whose owner welcomes independent animal rescuers and conducts an adoption drive every Saturdays.
Toby and Tessa are litters to a cat named Giza(it's the name of the place where she was found by the pet shop owner, and pregnant - so she decided to take her in and give her a safe place to give birth). Giza is due for spaying in the next few weeks.
We suspect they are her first kids, due to the size of the kittens.
Anyway, it's my first time having to look after Toby and Tessa, so far, it's been great. Will admit was a nervous wreck on day one.
Here are some pics of them.
Toby is the orange fella, while Tessa is the white one
PS Yes, both of them, has one eye which am currently applying eye ointment(scary thing to do for a first timer) Suspect is the cat litter, which I have changed, and am happy to report their eyes are getting better. Will be taking them to the vet again to have things checked out soon.
