I am so very sorry to read this, I am sure you are going to spoil her rotten, and make sure you have plenty of pics of her. Will be keeping you in my thoughts.
Thank you all for your kind thoughts - they are so greatly appreciated
Tippy has had a peaceful day. She has not gone out anywhere, which is a good thing, there was a nasty frost last night and it would be too cold for her. She's finding it difficult to keep warm anyway. She has an oil-filled radiator next to her bed at night and a snugglesafe (microwaveable and stays warm for 8 hours) under her cushion in the bed at night.
She spent the day in the conservatory, Lily and Tolly kept her company my husband tells me. They sat next to her chair, taking it in turns to sit with her.
Now that we're all in for the evening, she is sitting by the fire. She has sad little eyes today, but is still eating, drinking and using the litter tray normally.
Thank you all for keeping her in your thoughts - I am sure that it helps.
My heart is just breaking for you! But what a blessing that you can be there for her right now, keeping her comfortable and assuring her of your love. I am sending a prayer and a thought out for you and Tippy.
I am so sorry to hear about Tippy. I truly hope her final moments are peaceful. I've seen with my own cats that when Jordan is having bad day the others tend to spend time with him to keep him company.
