When I go out for karaoke, and if I have the choice, I pick Dusty's version.

I know quite a few of these "oldies", I tend to switch radio stations up between oldies, eightys, classic rock, and today's hits.

My weight trainer is about the same age as me, and he is also a drummer so we end up talking music quite a bit. He actually keeps track of the top 200 billboard regularly and says that most of the top songs these days are rap. Just yesterday he said if you were to look at the list you'd think rock was dead, heavy metal sank, and country was just treading water.
