We have had several kids trick or treating tonight, I would have to say that at least half of the ones knocking on the door are not dressed up and have not even said "trick-or-treat". They just hold a plastic bag out and then walk off without even as much as a thank you. When I was a kid I always made sure to say "trick-or-treat" and also always said thank you.
Another thing I noticed is that they all want to choose which pieces of candy they get and how many. I had one ask for extra candy for her friends who were resting on the curb, and one girl who I guessed to be about 20 carrying a young baby with 2 pillow cases collecting candy for the both of them.
Any other Halloween frustrations out there???
