This might sound stupid….
My kitten came in to heat today. She's 8 month old and thou we’ve been meaning to get her spayed sometimes life gets in the way of the best intentions. (She’s an indoor kitty through her own choice and I plan to get it done straight away)
My question is, this morning my bf and I were on the whiskas website and went on the section called ‘cat translator’.

When we played it my kitten (who shows no interest in other cats when the wander into the garden and to my knowledge hasn’t met another cat in the 6 months we’ve had her) started to purr and jumped up to lick and nuzzle the monitor.
Do you think this triggered her into going into heat?
I’ve played it in front of her before and she ignored it.
I feel so bad for her, she's flirting her heart out but no ones interested!
