Once you get past a certain age (a lot younger than you think) you remember something good that you used to buy that isn't made or harvested any more.

This is kind of obscure, but here goes:
There was a breakfast cereal in the mid-1970s called "Heartland" made by Pet (which made evaporated milk). The best one was "toasted corn" which I believe is actually hominy grits made with extra sugar. So crunchy, so good! It got dumped in favor of granola, which is okay.
Anyone remember it? Anyone know a recipe to make your own?
