Thanks guys. It certainly was another reminder that things in life can change in an instant. Very thought provoking for me.
Congrats on your loss, bet that feels good
The downward spiral continues, Pat. Wonderful job. It's something how our weight fluctuates from day to day.
FWIW, I did manage to lose 2.8 pounds this past week.
We are prolly close in age, don't give up It can come off!
Thanks, guys. It seems that the older I get, the harder it is.
Thanks, I am working for now on increased hydration and salt intake. I am such a fan of miracle noodles ziti and fettuccine, sticking with itCongratulations on reaching your maintenance weight (even though you want to drop a little more eventually.)
It sucks that your BP is still problematic. I really sympathise - I have the same issues myself. Hope you get back onto an even keel soon. Pure liquorice is meant to boost blood pressure. I take it in capsule form as a supplement. Might be worth a try?
Also, for all of you on reduced carb diets - have you come across bean pasta? It's made by http://www.explore-asian.com. Much more filling than 'real' pasta and lower carb too
TY!!That's tremendous, Pat! Congratulations!
Glad you came back to catch up, and congrats on losing 10+BMI points, that is awesome (as is the 66+ pounds you lost so far!)
Oh my goodness... I dropped off from this thread and kept meaning to catch up. Pat! I am so glad you are okay. And I hope your health continues to improve! I hope you enjoy maintenance and please keep updating this thread as we all know that is the hard part!
So the week after my small gain, I had a BIG gain, 4.25 lbs. It was water weight from a very bad eating week and weekend. The following week (last Monday) I lost all 5 lbs I had gained, but lost no new weight. Tonight I lost 1.25 lbs and reached 66.25 lbs lost total. I have lost 10.1 BMI points.
I hope everyone has a good week and I will try to stay updated with the thread!!!
