My profile still says, "The rest of your profile will become visible after you've been active in the forums". Even though I've posted 9 times in the forums. What am I doing wrong? Is it broken? How many posts do I have to post?

Do you mean your signature can't be added? That ability won't kick in till you've reached Young Cat status (20 posts and 5 days of membership, though it can take up to 24 hours longer depending on the update cycle). The membership status groups and associated perks are explained in Promotions and Benefits
