They have side by side toilets like that in the rest stops on the Pennsylvania turnpike in the "family" ones. One normal size one and one low to the ground, kid size one. It's handy at this stage of my life!
Aha! Maybe that solves the mystery - they're family toilets! I didn't know they had ones like that on the PA turnpike now. They have side by side toilets like that in the rest stops on the Pennsylvania turnpike in the "family" ones. My Gezer makes up for anything other cats miss. He's incredibly talkative, so much so that people sometimes tell him to please shut up because they can't concentrate with him giving speeches. He can sound incredibly human too, so you find yourself actually listening and trying to understand his "words". He can absolutely say "Eema" which is Hebrew for "Mommy". He got me out of bed in the middle of the night more than once, thinking one of the kids was calling me.
:lol3: I am going to have to have a talk with Abby about this as she rarely meows. She apparently has a huge repertoire and she is holding back. :lol3:I learnt this cat fact today
Cats can make over 100 vocal sounds, while dogs can only make 10. Also cats rarely meow at other cats
Thanks!Great work by abbys mom then. Just googled the toilet thing, interesting
There site has been a lot of trouble with the games this year hasn't there
Oh yes ! I know what you mean. Mine all seem to be asleep at the moment. But I'm sure if I get up they will all become wide awake :lol3:Got two cats becoming grumpy here.......they are saying " mom get up and feed us now, quick talking to your cat friends and pay attention to us.".....you know in all the ways our cats speak to us.
Haha- whenever my cats see another cat they try to paw the screen and even snap at it. No wonder they're so dominant with other catsMy purr box is demanding attention again, I swear he is jealous of this tablet....it's like he knows I'm seeing other cats on here
They rebuilt both the rest stops from the ground up on the north/south portion of it several years ago. They did one at a time and it seemed it really took a while to get both done. We go up that way several times a year. They even have a large stall with a door right off the eating area that isn't gender specific. I remember my ex-step-mother putting her hands over her boys' eyes to walk them to a stall in the ladies room when we were kids and my Dad wasn't with us. These would have been handy!Aha! @jcat, Mogli must think you are a real cat then if @allenkm's information is correct :-D, I too heard cats only meow for people. I used to think Mouse was unusual the way he squeeks but actually it sounds like a lot of cats do it. Mind you, Mouse doesn't do other cat sounds like hiss spit or growl. It's just as well he purrs and meows in many tones including happy, plaintive, bored and demanding or I'd think I lived with a dog or a child... I am most impressed by @Anne though, how on earth did Gezer learn Eema?! That is brilliant. I guess it's a bit like the cats on uTube that copy dogs barking and things. Wish Mouse would do something clever like that.I learnt this cat fact today

Wait until @MServant sees that there is another babbling thread. I think they are her favorite.
