The "guts" of chicken

Hi all.

Sometimes I'd buy whole cornish hens for my dinner. They're usually stuffed with the guts of the chicken.. the hearts and such. I am sure you know!

Anyways, I don't feed raw to my cats, occasionally I'd give them a piece of raw chicken before I cook them as treats. But I am wondering if its OK to feed them the entire contents of the gut bag that's stuffed inside the chicken? I don't want to cause any tummy issues with them since they aren't on raw diet.

Hearts and gizzards are perfectly fine to feed as snacks, as long as raw meat doesn't exceed 15% of the cat's diet (make very sure the bird hasn't been "enhanced" or "marinated" to increase flavor!). The neck bones and remaining organs should only be fed sparingly, as they can have an affect on the cat's digestive process (too much organ can make stools runny and too much bone can make stools harder to pass).
