Muffin went to the vet today for his FVRCP yearly vaccine. The dr. said that there is a fair amount of tartar built up on his teeth and told me to schedule him for a tooth cleaning before too long. I have had cats for the last 28 years and I have not had to do this before. The dr. said he would want to do blood work first because Muffin would have to be put to sleep. Any experience out there with what this involves. Do cats generally get along okay when this is done. Just nervous I guess. I hate to put him to sleep unless it is absolutely necessary.
