Well, this is the year for hot weather all over the globe!
I have had well intentioned people and read cat articles that say the cats will adjust when it is very hot. My brother said 'Just look at the large cats in Africa and India!".
But my little domesticated indoor senior just doesn;t do well in humidity over 72 and the temp well into 90 degrees F .
Yet,She LOVES it, but all she does is lay there like she is in a coma!..and she chooses the direct sun, too!
When I try to get her up and around she looks like she is so lethargic, although I provide plenty of cool water and food on top of a cooling unit.
So I give her a few hours and then bring her onto my bed in the AC.
From what I am experiencing and seeing this year I so disagree that the high heat is ok for cats and that they will adjust!
Am I the only one?
