Hello - just wondering what my kitten could be. I have some guesses but I am not seasoned in cat breeds.

Some info - came from a shelter - his litter mates were two female calicos Short hair.

About Fozzie: He plays fetch, plays in his water dish, very talkative, knows his name and comes when called, very gentle, a cuddlebug and loves being around his people. Currently he is 5 1/2 months old.

Any idea what his background is ?

I love this photo! What a gorgeous boy.
He's not likely to be any particular breed, rather just a domestic "moggy". But I'd say he's a very handsome tabby.

Agreeing with PushyLady, he is surely a sweet domestic.  But if you want to compare him to a breed, so perhaps Maine Coon look alike.
