Some of you may have read about Sybil and her experiences under my garage in the Strays forum. Well, she's now safe in the house with her babies and I just wanted to get an idea of whether or not they sound like they're on the right track.
There are 3 kittens, 2 girls and 1 boy (although I'm not naming them until the vet verifies this
) They all seem healthy and active, eye's are open and they wander around. This morning for the first time I saw two of them tumbling around and playing. So I figure they're about 4 weeks old. DH and I weighed them all last night and I was wondering how these weights look to everyone. I've had rescues with health issues, but never kittens before so I'm a bit out of my depth
1. Grey & White. Female. Very loud. 14.14oz (she looks huge compared to the others)
2. Brown Tabby with white socks. Female. 11.78oz. (She loves to hang out with the grey kitten, which looks funny considering their size difference)
3. White with Brown tabby splotches. Male. 13.64 oz. (he's the quiet one and usually just sits there watching his sisters.
Do they sound like healthy weights? Also, how often should I be weighing them? Sybil is so tiny and thin as a stick, so it looks so odd to see them nursing from her. Sorry no pics at the moment. I have them, but my computer's on the fritz so I can't upload until it's fixed.
