Student teaching placement

I'm really excited because this past friday (23rd) I got my placement for my first student teaching experience.


It's a two week period and I got a 4th grade classroom and I'm so thankful because I was praying that I wouldn't end up in a kindergarten classroom. I'm also excited because the teacher of this class also had been the school's resource teacher, so I'm looking forward to learning about how I can modify and adapt my lessons to help children who have developmental or learning disabilities!

I'm not really nervous about much....I've been in the classroom plenty before...but I haven't taken some education curriculum classes yet (science methods, art methods, social studies methods) but I may still have to teach a lesson in those areas, so that's all I'm really nervous about.

I'm just looking forward to it and plus I get to go shopping for some new teacher clothes hehe.
