Struggling to worm my cat

Hi

My 8 month old has poo with white rice- assuming it’s worms. Nothing moving in her poo . I purchased Beaphar worming tablets from Amazon, halved a tablet but she won’t take it in her food. Tried her mouth but she keeps spitting the tabletout! Should I visit my vet, can anyone recommend any tips? I have tried YouTube!

Can you crush it really fine and mix it in something she loves? ie something really smelly and a small quantity.

Try wrapping the pill in butter, a piece of meat, or cheese. Pill pockets work for many.

I had this problem with my cat. We eventually just took her to the vet for it because I couldn't get her to eat anything with them in it. They gave her a deworm medicine in a syringe to squirt down her throat. It was still very difficult because she would spit most of it back out. I think as long as she got a little bit of it down her throat and in her mouth it worked.
