I'm happy to report some progress! After letting the cats see each other with one in the cat condo and one out for a few nights, we tried letting them eat treats a couple of feet apart. There was some initial hissing but nothing too bad. The Feliway diffuser is still going but we haven't given either of them the CBD oil for several days. I wasn't convinced that it was doing any good. Before letting them eat treats together I gave them each 4 drops of RESCUE Remedy which was recommended to me from a family member who used to work for a vet. Way cheaper than CBD and I got it in 1 day on Amazon. I think it calmed them down considerably for that first face to face. They slept separately last night but have been together without barriers all day today and no issues.
