Austin is beautiful! (they ALL are!). I think all the Tabby Maine Coons resemble each other in some way. I really love the white feet though. This is Sam. DSH gray/white. He is 4. Had him sine he was 8 months. He weighs 16 pounds.
And they love each other so much!
And our newest addition is Gracie. An 8 week old tortie. Found her in food lion when she was only 5 weeks old. (Right as Hurricane Juaquine was starting!!!) Had to bottle feed her. (Poor thing had worms, ear mites and fleas. Had her tested for FLV and praise the lord it was neg. she's since been treated for all and vaccinated for distemper. She goes back soon for her rabies and leukemia vaccines. She is now 2.25 pounds. We are so blessed!)
Gracie looks SO small next to Sam, LOL But, she will grow all too fast!
Personally, I think all animals grow backwards! They should start out big and grow to be baby-sized!
My Boys are obviously different breeds, but they were born on the same exact day - 40 miles apart! Both were rescues.
Keeker was born in a neighbors garage to a stray and the guy hated cats and was going to kill him!
Kricket was given to me by a co-worker. His Mom owned him but couldn't care for him anymore due to illness and Blake hated cats too!
I got Keeker first, then a week later Blake saw his pic in my cubicle at work and asked if I wanted him - or he would go to a shelter! I drove 40 miles at 11:00 at night (after work) to go pick him up!
They have a typical brotherly love/hate relationship! LOL One minute they are curled together grooming and napping, and two minutes later they are beating the crap out of each other! I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time and got them BOTH! And I wasn't even looking for a cat!
