i have two cats both bengals one is almost one and the other 7 months old tarzan the older cat was limping so i took him to the vet and they did X-rays and sent it to a specialist they charged me 500$ and gave me some anti-inflammatory called metacam told me to keep him calm and he will get beth well this is next to impossible i have tried all i can think of :/ like separating the cats and keeping him in a different room that didn't work he went crazy so i sent my younger cat to my bf's to minimize the playing but still he wasn't keeping calm no matter what room he was in friend or no friend he was still hyper..so we switched them and at first it seemed to be working cause tarzan just hid at my friends house while at my house he was comfortable and ran all over but still its been since jan 1 and my cat is still limping what else can i do going to the vet is so expensive and i have already tried keep in mind hey did x rays and sent it to a specialist and they said it would get better in time..but my poor baby still limps

I am not sure what you can do on your own. Maybe some other members will have some suggestions for you. I think it's worth a call to the vet to say, hey it's been 2 months, and it's not healed like you said. A sprain really should have healed by now, so it sounds like they were wrong in their diagnosis or he reinjured it. Either way, it's worth a call. They won't charge you for that (or shouldn't).

Your babies are beautiful, and I hope Tarzan gets better soon.

When Mooch sprained her paw last year it did take months before she stopped favoring it and limping.  She didn't constantly limp though.  She isn't as active as a bengal; but she used to hurry to get away from my toddler all the time.  Including leaping over baby gates.  The vet assured me that it's just something that can be slow to heal.  But I would try to consult with your vet over the phone if it's really not improving.
