I am very excited, we certainly need another low cost clinic. I am crossposting what they need in case anyone on this board can donate something on their wishlist to them (of course, contact them if you have ANY concerns).
The South Central Region consists of the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell, Halifax and Pittsylvania and the cities of Bedford, Danville and Lynchburg.
We are currently building the third “super clinic” for Spay Virginia. This clinic will be a high volume, reduced cost spay/neuter clinic to service animal welfare organizations, shelters and the limited income public. At it’s completion it will be sterilizing 18,000 per year and employ a staff of 15.
We had originally planned to rent a space. When nothing was available we decided to build. The clinic will be located on Route 24 in Campbell County, near the Route 29 intersection.
We are need of the following items:
Kitchen Cabinets (new or in excellent condition)
Commercial Vinyl Tile
ADA Bath Fixtures
Landscaping Materials
Adjustable Shelving (for storage room)
Antibacterial Lotion
Buckets (3)
Cleaning Supplies (mops, buckets, brooms, sponges, etc)
Coffee Machine (new)
Countertop (8 foot long)
Door Mat (heavy duty rubber)
Fire Extinguisher (4)
First Aid Kit
Gift Cards to home improvement stores
Hand Soap
Laundary Baskets (4 new)
Office Supplies (new surge protectors, paper, pens, notepads, sharpies, etc)
Outdoor Hoses (2)
Paper Towels
Picnic Table
Plastic Spray Bottles (10 new)
Push Lawn Mower
Rubbing Alcohol (20 bottles)
Scrub brushes (10)
Sinks, restroom (one-ADA approved, one-Standard)
Standard Shower Stall
Step Ladder
Toilets (one-ADA approved, one-Standard)
Toilet Paper
Tools
