Spay Day!

It's spay day for my newest rescue, Emmie.  I know it's going to be okay, but I always get nervous when I have to leave my little ones at the vets for any type of procedure.  I have the utmost confidence in my vet and I discussed the procedure, types of sutures used, and the anesthesia used with her, but I'm still anxiously awaiting the phone call to come pick her up.  I'd appreciate any prayers you have to spare on Emmie's part and mine as well.

Oh what a cutie pie. She will be fine, I hate the wait too. If they could let us just stay there with them the whole time. life would be a lot less anxious for us all!!

The vet just called and she's already through the surgery and will be ready to be picked up in about an hour!  Anytime my babies have to be sedated, I get a bit anxious.  So, I'll be off to pick her up here in a little bit!  I'm in the midst of laundry anyway.  I have her little recovery area ready and waiting for her.
