Is this ok to give a cat? I read online that it's not so why does solid gold sell it?
Rant some more, you make perfect sense. And ("just sayin'" as they say) the really sad thing is that a lot of those ingredients are things people eat, too! I love chicken hearts and gizzards, have been served chicken feet at dim sum, and was fed all kinds of liver when I was a kid. I've refused beef tongue more times than I can count (difficulty with the taste buds still left on! but am sure I've eaten it in Russian soup)... I could go on and on!
Pork pancreas is a key ingredient in EZ Complete, the ingredient our vet thinks make the supplement work so well for Ireland.
Anyway, I'm done, rant over.
Oh my goodness, I can't stand the taste of liver! I've only ever liked it once: on a weekend trip (Russia) where I'd specially asked that the group of students I was leading not be fed liver because nobody liked it. And what do you know? The first meal was liver. But it was so good (seriously good!) that I was the only one that even noticed. (And I didn't tell my students.)Rant some more, you make perfect sense.
I can't hack the taste of liver but I can take it in this nifty little powdered pill that has all kinds of stuff in it that I don't eat like kidney.
Please tell Lydia that I've never liked coconut milk, either! All I know is I tried it for Lydia and she wouldn't even lick it (usually she'll at least try before vetoing a food). So she's definitely not sold on the gimmick!
See, we have this recipe we've been considering trying that's a really fine meatloaf, but the secret ingredient is liver. It's got beef, pork, onions, spices, a great sauce but we're just a little too chicken to try it.Oh my goodness, I can't stand the taste of liver! And yes, those organ meats often have really good nutrients in them.

Come to think of it, liver with coconut milk (with a side of avocado) would be my nightmare meal.
