Hello everyone.

I was wondering what you all think about his coat color. Will he fade into a solid black? Or does it seem like he is a smoke? He still has that light color around his cheeks a little bit and a white grey ish belly and under his arms. He is about 3 1/2-4ish months old now in the photos where he is darker.

I think it looks like he’s a smoke, but it’s hard to tell in the pictures because it could be that he just has a light undercoat. Can you take a picture of his fur parted?

Ok, so I think it looks like the lighter fur is undercoat, so, he would be considered solid black.

What a pretty cat! I agree, looks like he is a solid black cat. It's quite common for black cats, especially longhairs, to have a grayish or brownish undercoat. A smoke cat would have white at the root of the hairs, not gray.
