Since I got my new laptop in January, Holland is NOT allowed to lay on it. She knows this. She is allowed next to it in the "toasty" spot, she is allowed on my lap when I'm using it, but NOT on the keyboard. Still, without fail, EVERY night if I have it open, she tries to sneak onto the keyboard for a nap.
Tonight has been the worst. She was napping next to the computer for a while, then tried to creep onto the keyboard. She was sitting on my lap getting loves, then moved down to the toasty spot for a moment, then tried to creep onto the keyboard.
I know she knows what she's doing, because when she makes her attempts to get onto the keyboard she doesn't look right at me and moves one slow motion paw at a time, and when I pick her up to move her she has a look on her face that's half guilty and half in disbelief that her brilliant plan didn't work, because, you know, she's so sneaky.
Just how long does this exasperating adolescent phase last?!?
