My ceiling-high cat tree's upmost level used to be one of Usva's favorite places, where she could conviniently rule over the whole living room. The others always wanted to join her there; sometimes she would let them, sometimes not. After her death in November, Tilli and Milla have refused to go up there, even though they loved the place when she was alive. I've been wondering why - have they been still expecting her to come back?
Anyway, now after 2 months, the cat tree seems to be officially OK. Yesterday my sis saw Milla there, and right now Tilli is sleeping on the upper level. I'm really glad, it would have been a shame if they had abandoned it for good.
Has anyone else got similar experiences, cat's avoiding the favorite places of deceased friends for a time?
