Ginger is a little sneak!
She's managed to escape her room twice now, in less than 24 hours.
The first time was last night at 5:00 in the morning. Trent was keeping watch on her room, so he was quick to notify the sleeping mommy and daddy by growling.
The second time, I was taking a nap (she hollered for 3 hours before she escaped, and then some more after I closed the full door on her last night), and Earl was playing World of Warcraft. I have no idea how long she was out, because Earl didn't notice she was gone. All I know is that about 5 minutes after I came into the computer room, we heard Ginger yell, Trent went shooting downstairs, and Ginger was in the bedroom. All are OK, so we think they just scared each other.
Trent is a little wary of Ginger because she runs up to him. When she doesn't approach so fast he seems OK. They actually touched noses through the screen door this morning.
Ophelia, my tough little feral, seems scared of Ginger and won't even approach her room if Ginger is awake.
Ginger has settled in so well that she is obviously doing everything possible to go play with her new brother.
