Has anybody ever smoked a turkey on a gas grill? Since it’s just Rick and me this year, I’m considering trying it. If I mess it up, we’ll have burgers! No, I have never done it before, but how hard can it be? Thoughts, please? I mentioned it to Rick; his eyes widened and his eyebrows hit the top of his forehead. As he walked away, he was muttering and I’m pretty sure my name was mentioned.

I have wanted a smoker forever! And still don’t have one.

No. I've only smoked meats over charcoal with different kinds of wood chunks. I'm sure it can be done. I've only done beef, chicken and pork.

I have seen videos where people smoke meats on top of their kitchen stove so I don't see why not. There's a great how to video on you tube that seems to be pretty straight forward.Google how to smoke a turkey on a gas grill and you're there.
