Hi everyone,
Sorry to just be joining when I have a question, but I'm a little concerned about the younger of my two cats. My wife and I were out of town for about 24 hours this weekend, and when we returned, we found that our just-a-few-days-over-1 year old cat, Marie, has red and slightly inflammed lips on one side of her mouth. It doesn't seem to bother her at all, but it's something different, and so is worrisome.
Now, she's definitely a squirmer, so it was hard to get a good picture of the condition, but you can sort of see it here: http://yfrog.com/jvcwlmj. I've spent some time looking around online, and nothing seems to match it.
Anyone have any idea what this is, or more importantly, how serious? We can't get to the vet until Tuesday morning, unless we go to an emergency center.
