I've had cats sleeping in the bed for at least 30 years. One slept between my legs making it impossible to roll over without being a contortionist, one used me as a pillow for his head making it impossible for me to move. One of the current cats sleeps on me, from my ribcage to my hip. Fortunately, she is tiny.
It doesn't matter what you do, cats feel strongly about their contribution to the household -- i.e. alarm clock. If you manage to modify their early morning behaviour, they will just switch tactics.

Thanks for saying he is cute! He sure is something else. He doesnt get in bed with us a lot. He does when it gets cold in the house.
