Hello! I’m having some trouble with my pregnant mama. We got her around 6 weeks ago on Tuesday. Still no kittens to this day! She was already a few weeks when we first got her. I’m worried that she’s gone too long or if she’s even pregnant. The organization I foster through sometimes isn’t 100% positive that a cat is pregnant. I honestly haven’t seen any movement or felt anything because when you pet her, she never stops moving! She loves to be pet though. Her nipples have gotten bigger and seem to be filled with milk. I’m just not sure.

If you are worried about the 'mama' cat/Foster cat then speak to the people in charge of the foster program and express your concern.
If she starts having any problems (bleeding, vomiting etc.) then please do take her to the vet ASAP and speak to the people in charge of the foster program as it is their responsibility...
Good Luck!

She does look very much pregnant :-)
I would keep her under close observation...
Has she been eating a lot more than usual?
Purring all the time?
Wanting you to touch her?
Laying in one area meowing?
If so, then she is near to Labor...
Someone with a lot more experience will be able to help you

Good Luck!

Yes, but even from the beginning she has always purred a ton. She has never really ate a lot, not a big eater

I have another question. Can contractions look like her stretching? She tends do stretch and roll a lot lately

No, contractions are not stretching, but you should try to relax. Those babies will come when they are ready. As long as mom is not in distress, things should be fine. The shelter probably has her dates wrong. Happens all the time and waiting is hard! :)

Will she be spayed and placed for adoption now?

What a funny switch! Do you have weights for the babies? How old are they?

Yes. I foster through Ten Lives Club. They always do that with cats and kittens. I haven’t got weights yet, wanted to get them some time to get comfortable. They are a few days old

Looks like the orange & white one is polydactyl, at least the front right paw. Is the mom? Are any of the others?
