Feeling a little down and I'd love to see your kitties and hear a little about who they are/how they came to you!
I'll start with mine :redheartpump:

This is Theo, he's a 1 1/2 year old Bengal!
-I wanted a Bengal due to my sister's allergies, she doesn't react at all to them!
-I adopted him from from a bit of a sticky situation, his owners said he "wasn't cuddly enough". They had him for a year and never gave him a name. Later I found out that they were supposed to return him to the breeder if unwanted, but they failed to do so. Thankfully the breeder is a lovely soul who is happy he's safe home with me now and loves pictures of him !
-He's very fearful and used to be scared of touch/being lifted. He freaks out over any sort of change but has really come out of his shell since I adopted him. He owns the house these days!
-I wanted an outgoing cat, which was how they described him to me. From the moment I saw him I knew he certainly wasn't that. I also knew he was mine the moment I saw him. I love him with all I've got.
-He's very elegant and graceful and refined. He's also quite silly sometimes, and YES he is cuddly! But only when he wants to ;)

And now Remi!
-I got a full time job and didn't like the idea of Theo being alone all the time, also I'm addicted to cats, so I thought, hey why not?
-I found a local breeder. He was the last of his litter not to go, a sweet little marble (I wanted a snow and definitely didn't really want a marble, but he was so cute and I thought I should at least meet this little guy!). He was outgoing, crazy, silly and absolutely TINY at 13 weeks! I needed him, so what was supposed to be a meet and greet turned into me sealing the deal and bringing him home.
-Theo was furious but they were fast friends
- He is absolutely out of his mind 24/7. Favorite activities include hiking, trips to the pet store, car rides, shoulder rides and SNUGGLES!
-He's honestly kinda stupid sometimes and I love him for it
-He is a velcro kitty. He has to be touching me in some way all the time. My coworkers refer to him as my kitty bestie because we're always together and any staff get togethers and trips I'm always asking if I can bring him ;)

Down? We can’t let that go. I’ll try to give you a dose of happy cat! I started doing rescues even though I had already rescued a Clowder. It was an emergency rescue of many and it has kept me hopping. I have a house full of energy, kitty cuddles, tech savvy selfie cats and just plain silly causing side splitting laughter. I can’t possible tell you about them all but here’s a bit of cat fur you.
This is Banjo. She’s very smart and intends to run for President. She’s also in love with a frog. She’s always kissing him and everyone who has followed her story has decided she kisses him in the hope that he will become her Prince. The funny thing is that the frog seems to love her too. They spend hours together.

Banjo steals my phone and takes selfies. She understands how to use this thing better than I do!

Charlie was found alone outside when he was two months old. The woman who found him wasn't able to keep him, so I said I would take him. Since he was born feral and abandoned so young, he was very difficult for the longest time. Although he still has "feral" moments, he's mellowed considerably. He loves to be stroked on the head and neck. He's three years old.

I adopted Selene from my local shelter when she was about three months old. She put total trust in me, even though I was a stranger, and I've vowed to live up to that trust. She's very loving and playful, and I think she's taught Charlie a few cat essentials. She's two years old.

Much to my surprise (and relief), Charlie and Selene accepted each other almost instantly. This picture was taken not too long after I brought Selene home.

Despite their tussles, they're good friends

Smile! Most of us feel a bit down every now and then, but we have our cats! 😍😍

Of all my cats, I consider Barley as the natural comedian. He makes me laugh even when he does not know it. Such a funny fella this boy is:

When he needs something like food or treats, he “peeks” at me: 😁
D57AE4A6-C3A9-47B7-B3CC-A0B4B3C92F94.jpeg

Or just stares:

895CEFCC-03D5-4A06-97E9-7AF1D1626779.jpeg

He is at most times always dirty, because he loves to mess with his wet food, the litter box, and even in the bathroom, and when I yell at him, he looks surprised as if telling me, “What did I do now?”
LOL!

Here are mine:

Mooshoo- adopted her as a kitten, she is almost 2 years old, buddies with Waffles. She's a chowhound, LOVES to play, my silly one.
I'm plump and proud of it! Mooshoo lounging like a Grandma in her favorite chair:

Maybe if I sit on my feeder it will feed me:

Waffles: adopted him at age 2 yrs. from a shelter, he's 5 years old now. Stray/semi-feral. He is now such a loving lap cat and purr-monster:
Aren't I gorgeous?

Waffles: I love Mooshoo's corduroy mouse:

Gracie: She is 12 years old, my newest kitty, adopted 6 weeks ago from a shelter after her owner died. She has a million meows and talks up a storm. My other two are trying to figure her out! They haven't realized all she wants is a lap and a soft bed, and that she likes them!

If you need more comfort pictures, I have them! Hope you find some smiles.

I have five.

This is Socks, 7 years old and the almighty boss cat of the house. She turned up one day at about 7 months old. If she was a human, she would not be a cat person, and would never consider joining in the regular cuddle puddles and play sessions that go on in the house. She is very fond of soft and warm places to sleep, and owns the top quality sleeping spot in the house (on top of the snake's tank, right above the heat lamp, even more so when I put a fairly thin but soft cat bed on top of it). She also steals my pillow every night, or sleeps on me, one night I thought I had sleep paralysis, until I realised I had a cat sleeping on my chest.
20190511_171508.jpg

Mittens,4 years old and one of a trio of black/black and white kittens I found. She's not fond of kids and avoids mine, but she loves other cats. She's usually in the middle of every cuddle puddle and treats our new kitten as if he's her baby. She's a bit of a scaredy cat, but is very soft with me and has a very big, loud purr and likes having her belly rubbed. She likes to sleep under the bed or in the new fluffy cat bed I got for Christmas with her new kitten friend.

Amber, 4 years old and the smallest of the trio of black/black and white kittens I found. She's shy, most people who visit dont realise I have another black cat. She's the most stubborn and the hardest to get wormer or flea treatment on. She is very polite and when it is food time, she knows which bowl is hers and sits by it. She's a very dainty picky eater and has one brand of cat food she doesnt hate. She goes through stages of having different favourite toys, and when she really loves you she brings her favourites over and drops them at your feet. She's very smart.
20190224_150651.jpg

Izzy, 4 years old, the biggest of the trio of black/black and white kittens I found, or rather, she found me. I heard a tiny meow on the doorstep, and this little kitten walked right in and started purring and playing. Shortly after, we found two more same aged kittens. She's probably in the negatives if we did a cat IQ test, but she makes up for it by being the softest and most tolerant animal in the universe. I dont think she has ever scratched anyone, and she loves kids.
20190216_192017.jpg

Teddy, the baby, born 23rd September. He's a much loved accident, my sister was told that the two kittens she was getting were both female, but they were not, and cats mature surprisingly quickly. He's a cuddly little lap cat who has the most overactive, loud purr motor ever. He purrs if you talk to him in a baby voice from the other side of the room and also if you feed him, give him a toy or even look at him. He loves to eat. Wand toys are his favourite kind of toy to play with, but he's obsessed with the DaBird and when he catches it he wont let go and growls if anyone tries to take it back (even if it means the chasing fun is now over).
