Should I Be Concerned About A Fish Bone Found In Thrive Wet Food?

I opened a can of Thrive, Ocean Fish flavor for my cats today and found a long piece of fish bone. It was quite pointy and solid, though it was very brittle and broke after applying little pressure. I'm worried about them choking or damaging their throats, but since its so breakable can they actually eat it?

I chalked it up to a one time bad batch, so I didn't do anything about it besides throw the bone away. If it happens again I'll definitely take photos and contact the store.

Almost all fish flavors will have some bone. i always fork around in the foods before i feed, and if i find a bone or two i throw the bone out. Some brands have a lot of bone, some very few. I always check.
