Hi there!

I have an almost (will be in 2weeks) 5month old siamese mix. I was wondering what type of fur might he end up with. I feel like the more he grows the shorter his hair gets. The reason why I ask if he’s going to be medium hair is because he has medium/long tuff between his toes on all paws. Who has experienced something similar? Any ideas??

I’d go with longhaired, because his ear furnishings extend beyond the ear and he has nice toe tufts. He’s a cutie!

I really hope you’re right, because i’m anxiously waiting for him to get longer hair! I just thought he would have longer hair by now since he is almost 5months ! I don’t know, I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

He is absolutely adorable! Actually while i'm here, what is the difference between medium and long haired? If your cat has the toe and ear tufts..but the fur lengths vary from her back to her side to her pantaloons etc...do you say medium or long? Confuzzling!

It’s a fine line. Actually, in the world of cat shows, there is no mediumhair classification, only short- and longhair. A cat with long ear furnishings and toe tufts I describe as a longhair.

Yea this is what I’ve heard ! But for me, medium is somewhere between shorthair and longhair. I just feel like they should make a group for cats like that haha
