She Just Threw Up What Looks Like A Rubber Band

My boyfriend texted me about 45 minutes ago to let me know that my cat had thrown up. She's had hairballs lately and this was a hairball...but with puke, and pieces of something blue. He said when he cleaned it up, it felt like a rubber band. He also said that she was sleepy all morning, but after throwing up she was running around, all excited, acting fine.

Do you think she's okay, or should I bring her to the vet for x-rays?

Could he determine what the pieces of something blue were? I would watch her for awhile. She is probably fine. But you have to do what you feel comfortable with your decision. None of us can know for sure what you are asking.

Is she on any meds? I had a cat do this one time and it’s turned out he had thrown up the exterior of one of his pills. It looked like a blue piece of rubber.

No, she's not on any meds
