serious skin problem in young male cat

hello, everyone i have another problem regarding our youngest cat "Junior"
he is a very active baby like cutie and very playful, going to be two years next September
last month we noticed he licks one of his back legs.. some of the hair was off that area. we thought it was from a catfight that happened earlier that week
but we noticed the itchiness baldness of that area continued and his licking became more and more aggressive
the area has spread upwards toward his thigh area.
he's very annoyed with it and we don't know what it is
his appetite has slightly changed it's little less than before

It's very possible that is the culprit. Can you change back to the old stuff and see if it stops? I'm thinking it's an allergy to the new stuff.
