So I had to take Picasso to the vet today since her eye was really red, swollen and irritated (got antiobiotic ointment for her). She was a complete angel.
since Monet was due for his annual and shots, I took him along too. Man was he a BAD boy! hissing, growling, snarling, biting, scratching, hissing.. one would think he's a feral!! The vet had to sedate him as I didn't want to try again another time. I've never, ever seen him so upset before.
I forgot to ask, and the office is now closed.. is it OK to feed a cat while he's still groggy? The vet told me to keep him in the carrier for a few hours, but I failed to ask about feeding his dinner... suggestions?
And how long would the effect wear off? I hope he'll snap back to his old self by morning. He's currently in the dark bedroom on my bed, in the carrier.
