Here's what I would do, in your position. Find some project that you can make, and start your SS giving with that. That way, you'll be covered if something happens, and homemade gifts are generally well-appreciated. Then, you can add stuff if you're in a position to do so.

Just a suggestion, mind you...

LMAO!!!!!!! Im soooooo ready!!! I have already gone thru my 'SS stash' and Im sooo ready. I need my hints and I will literally be ready to ship to my SS like the weekend after I get my SS name!!!

I went to a craft store and got something I had done a lot years ago. It's not as popular as it was then but that will maybe make it a little more unique. I haven't done latch hook in years, I hope I remember how.

I ordered some fabric, floss, and a frame from an online craft store! Hmmm...I wonder what I am making... LOL

Other ways you can find out what your Santee (the person you have to send the gifts to) likes is by searching for the Member Under the Spotlight thread and see if your person participated - often juicy tidbits of information in there!

Ok, I have thought of a way to make this even more fun.


After the names are sent out and the hint thread is going good, I wll give the first recipient to post photos of their gifts and their Secret Santa each 50,000 points.

And just to keep the interest ongoing, I will give the same to the LAST recipient to post photos of their gift before midnight on Christmas day. That will be according to Cental Standard Time, USA.

Someone be sure to remind me I made this promise!
