I do cat rescue and this boy was trapped from outside at around 8 weeks old. He is around 4 months now. I have attached some pictures (the one where he is laying in a bin is from when he got neutered and was coming out for shots so don't be alarmed! I am wondering if he is a seal or chocolate point. I can't tell the difference no matter how many pictures I look through!

At that age, with points that dark, I would be likely to call him a seal point.  Your photos do not show his paw pads, however.  I usually use the color of the paw pads to make my color call with these unpedigreed but lovely kittens.  The purebred standard says a chocolate point's paw pads have a rosy pinkish tone to them, but a seal point's paw leather is very dark brown, almost black.  Here;s a photo as an example:  this is a half Siamese kitten and I would call her a chocolate point because of her paw leather color.  The tone of her points is also warm, like Hershey kisses, rather than dark like your kitten.
