I am trying to transition my kitten to something without grains, carrageenan, meat by-products, corn, wheat, soy or artificial preservatives etc and wanted to steer clear of fish as that's not something she could have as a wild cat and too much fish isn't a good thing anyhow (plus it smells gross) though I would probably use real dried fish as a treat source.
I thought I found the perfect flavors in Nulo's Chicken/Turkey and the Beef/Lamb flavors but both have seafood in them - tuna's the 5th ingredient for Chicken flavor and Sardines appear before the lamb in the other. And from doing a quick look, it appears that there is some kind of seafood in the cat food, wet or dry, I am looking at.
What's the story? Thanks
