Does anyone know if it is safe to use scented oil candles in a room frequented by cats? Cindy and Bella are sensible enough to not try and ingest it but I was wondering whether simply inhaling the scent could cause problems like ulcers?

I hope so too. But if she doesn't improve, she may have the herpes virus. Or some other problem. Have you had her to the vet?Originally Posted by Pui Hang
Hi there,
Thanks for the reply. I have a feeling that they are the cause of Cindy's eye ulcers so I've put them all away for now. I'm really hoping that they were the cause as it means that she won't have to suffer them anymore
Yes, she goes to the vet whenever I don't think she is behaving normally. Since September 2010 she has had about 4 eye ulcers - each time, it's the alternate eye i.e. September, it was her left eye, October it was her right eye, January it was her left eye, February it was her right eye.Originally Posted by otto
