I'm a newbie but super grateful this forum exists! My little Sarah, indoor cat less than 1 year old, has had a scab on her neck that recently opened. It started out as a few raised bumps under her fur that could be felt while petting her. Now the hair has stopped growing and the scab is open. I've noticed a little blood. She doesn't seem uncomfortable tho and I don't see her excessively itching either. After reading around online, I'm going to stop using plastic bowls. I'm also going to put some Hydrogen peroxide on it. What else should I do? What could this be from? I am trying to avoid a very expensive trip to the vet unless necessary. She lives and plays with her brother who doesn't have anything like it. I've attached a pic and would appreciate any tips/suggestions/ thoughts. Thanks in advance!
